Japan was the last international trip I took before the pandemic hit the UK so I can't help but look back on it fondly. Daydreams of more care-free days aside, this was an amazing country to travel across. Its beauty and uniqueness cannot be overstated, and I hope my photos capture some of that. I'm a big fan of Japanese cuisine so I have to mention the food. It was phenomenal. I still have vivid memories of sampling otoro tuna fresh off a market stall in Osaka, queueing for Michelin-star ramen that lived up to all the hype in Tokyo, and resting my feet up at at CoCo Ichibanya after a long day of sightseeing to tuck into a plate of my ultimate comfort food: katsu curry!
